About

Bankside Notes is an independent guide to carp and coarse fishing in Britain: tackle, bait, techniques, licences and fishery etiquette.

We are not a tackle shop

This web address was previously used by a different business, a tackle shop. We have no connection with it, sell nothing, and cannot take or trace orders.

How we work

Our guides are checked against trusted sources such as the Environment Agency, the Angling Trust and fisheries science. Rules change, so always check the current regulations and your fishery’s own rules before you fish.
